I’m Kali, a Product & Experience Designer

From mobile apps to virtual worlds, I design for that first encounter with something new

XR Experience Design

Visual art meets immersive technology. These projects use AR and VR to change how people experience art and meaning: layering hidden stories, exploring symbolism, and creating spaces for reflection. I'm drawn to what immersive media can do that a screen can't.

Product Design

Good product design solves the right problem before designing the solution. I lead with research, think in systems, and design toward outcomes that work for the person using the product and the business behind it.

About Me

I'm a product and experience designer with a diverse background that shapes how I work.

My work spans two areas: UX and product design for digital experiences, and immersive design for VR and spatial environments. Whether I'm designing a mobile app or a VR experience, the core challenge is the same: helping people understand and trust something they have never used before. I'm currently earning my MS in Information Experience Design at Pratt Institute and I just finished an internship with the Immersive XR Programming team at Lincoln Center.

Before that, I went to art school, then spent over a decade as a fashion product designer for brands like Cole Haan, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi's, and Karl Lagerfeld. That work taught me to design for real people, to read research and sales data, and to balance innovation with familiarity so new ideas feel approachable. It's a product and user lens I bring to everything I design now.
